How to Care for Your Garment
Our garments are made from high-quality, sustainable fabrics designed for comfort, durability, and a lower environmental impact. Proper care will help maintain the luxurious feel and longevity of your piece. Follow these care instructions to ensure your garment stays in perfect condition.
Fabric Composition
This garment is crafted from 59% EcoViscose and 41% Tencel Luxe. These plant-based fibers are known for their soft, silky texture and breathability, making them ideal for everyday wear. Their production follows an eco-friendly process that minimizes water and energy consumption while ensuring biodegradability.
Washing Instructions
Use a laundry bag: To protect the delicate fibers and maintain the garment’s shape, place it inside a laundry bag before washing.
Gentle cycle at 30°C: Machine wash on a delicate or gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water (30°C) to prevent fiber damage and color fading.
Mild detergent: Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent to preserve fabric integrity and reduce environmental impact. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Drying Instructions
Lay flat to dry: After washing, reshape the garment and lay it flat on a clean, dry towel in a well-ventilated area. Avoid hanging, as it may stretch the fabric.
Avoid tumble drying: Tumble drying can weaken the fibers and cause shrinkage. Air drying is the best way to maintain the garment’s softness and durability.
Ironing & Steaming
Always iron inside out: Due to its silky texture, we strongly recommend ironing your garment inside out to prevent any shine or heat damage on the surface.
Iron on low heat: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting to remove wrinkles.
Steaming recommended: A garment steamer is a gentler alternative that helps preserve the fabric's natural drape without excessive heat exposure.
Dry Cleaning
If professional cleaning is needed, ensure it is done with perchloroethylene (PCE) dry cleaning to maintain fabric integrity.
Additional Tips for Longevity
Wash less frequently: Fabrics like Tencel and EcoViscose naturally resist odors and bacteria, so they don’t require frequent washing. Airing out your garment between wears can help maintain freshness.
Store properly: Keep in a cool, dry place and fold neatly to prevent stretching.
Eco-conscious care: By following these steps, you not only prolong the life of your garment but also reduce water, energy, and chemical usage, making a positive impact on the planet.
